When Corona Virus first hit Canada in the early 2020s, Shiva, the founder of VancoMed, was working alongside the front-liners in the Medical field. In a shockingly rapid speed, this unfortunate disaster was spreading in the world, leaving people faced with the shortage of supplies. While companies, including the PPE manufactures were shutting down to prevent the spread of virus amongst their personnel, the clinics staying open without having proper PPE was leaving the front-line workers desperately in need. Faced with this unfortunate situation, Shiva who had an experience working in a Medical equipment production company as well in thge past, decided to start the production of Non-Wooven Masks, with the help of her husband and children.
In a short period of time, the quantity and comfort level of her work attracted the attention of the public, and encouraged Shiva to expand her production by adding waterproof, washable, reusable and sterilize-able gowns for doctors and dentist. She later on added other protection equipment in her line, such as Scrubs sets, surgical caps and headbands for doctors and nurses, and even protective uniforms for the salon workers. This production started in the heart of Vancouver, BC, Canada, in accordance with hygienic principals, following all safety and precautionary measures to deliver high quality supplies to both Heat-line workers and the general public. Vancomed continues to expand thanks to the love and support received by it local clients and vendors.
